The Escape Artist of Our FarmMeet Houdini

At Cowie’s Cows, our small Colorado farm is home to four delightful goats, including our famous escape artist, Houdini. True to his name, Houdini is a master of breaking free and loves to socialize with our chickens and dogs. Goats are known for their intelligence, making them easy to handle and train. Their smart and curious nature allows them to form strong bonds with their owners, adding to the joy of goat farming. While Houdini’s escapades keep us on our toes, his charming personality endears him to everyone on the farm.

Flavorful & Packed with NutritionGoat Farming

Goat farming has been a staple of agriculture for centuries due to the versatility and value goats bring. At Cowie’s Cows, we are inspired by this tradition and plan to expand our offerings to include homemade goat cheese and other goat products. Goat milk is renowned for its distinct, delicious flavor and nutritional benefits, being lower in saturated fat and carbs but rich in protein, calcium, and vitamins. Additionally, many people find goat milk easier to digest than cow’s milk, making it an excellent alternative for those with lactose intolerance.

Creamy GoodnessGoat Cheese

Goat cheese is highly prized for its versatility, enhancing various dishes from morning eggs to evening snacks on crackers. At Cowie’s Cows, we are excited to share the magic of goat milk and cheese with our community, celebrating the unique benefits and joys of goat farming. Our goats, led by the adventurous Houdini, are not only integral to our farm’s operations but also to its heart and spirit.
