This is why, at Cowie’s Cows, we’ve created something new, and wonderful to celebrate the moms, stepmoms, and grandmoms in your life. A Mother’s Day experience that’s simple, meaningful, and just a little bit magical. When you arrive at the ranch, things naturally begin to slow down. The pace shifts. The city noise fades. And in its place, you’ll find open space, fresh air, and a group of furry Highland coos ready to meet you.
During your visit, you and your family will have the chance to brush and hand-feed our cows—Landi, MooMoo, Wallace, and Silver Dollar—each with their own personality that our visitors truly enjoy connecting with. During your guided ranch visit, you’ll also visit our emus and goats, adding a little curiosity and fun to the experience. And because it’s Mother’s Day, we’ve added a few special touches just for her.
Each mom will receive fresh flowers, a small but meaningful gesture to celebrate her. You’ll also share a champagne toast together (with sparkling apple cider for the kids), creating a moment that feels both relaxed and special at the same time. Of course, there will be plenty of opportunities to capture photos—but more importantly, moments you’ll actually cherish for a long time. While we are not professional photographers, we will do our best to capture your special moment.
What makes this experience different isn’t just the animals or the setting. It’s how it feels. It’s the quiet laughter while brushing a cow. The way everyone naturally puts their phones down. The simple joy of being together, without rushing to the next thing.
We’re offering Mother’s Day ranch visits not just for one day, but across multiple weekends—Mother’s Day weekend, as well as the weekends before and after—so you can celebrate in a way that fits your schedule.
